The firm's senior analyst is Sal Fariello. Mr. Fariello, the author of several automotive books and manuals which are found in most public libraries (Mugged By Mr. Badwrench, The People's Car Book, etc.), has a reputation for honesty in the forensic sciences. He is one of only a few accident reconstructionists to have been specially appointed by a Court as an expert witness.

Unlike some consultants, he does not accept every case that is offered to him, nor does he bend the rules of good science to give a client opinions the client may want to hear. His success rate over the last 10 years has been approximately 98%. That is, of the cases he has accepted for reconstruction/analysis wherein his findings have been supportive of the client, 98% have been either won in trial or settled with results favorable to the client. Sal has done forensic work for state agencies, civil and criminal lawyers, and insurance companies throughout the United States.

Sal is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers, the National Association of Professional Accident Reconstruction Specialists, and the National Association of Fire Investigators. He has specialized training in accident investigation, low speed crash analysis, injury biomechanics, general accident reconstruction, reconstruction of pedestrian accidents, reconstruction of commercial vehicle accidents, reconstruction of watercraft accidents, computer simulation and reconstruction of vehicle accidents, airbag sensor design, retrieval and analysis of airbag computer "black box" crash data, human anatomy, and motor vehicle fire cause and origin investigation.

Sal has studied these fields at Northwestern University, Eastern Kentucky University, Texas A&M University, University of North Florida, University of California at Riverside, University of California at San Diego School of Medicine and at training programs offered by the Society of Automotive Engineers.

Sal is well known for his role in helping consumers recover over $17,000,000 in Skelton v. General Motors. His involvement in this case is discussed in his book Mugged By Mr. Badwrench. In his book titled The People's Car Book, he revealed how to avoid getting ripped off by car dealers and repair shops. He co-authored a training manual titled Automotive Service Marketing, which is used in many colleges as a textbook and has been sold worldwide. His contribution to the learned literature on the subject of accident reconstruction and injury biomechanics is the training manual titled The Plaintiffs' Lawyers Guide To Minor Impact Cervical And Lumbar Injury, a work that has received considerable praise from those in the legal profession. In fact, a chapter of Mr. Fariello's manual was featured in the April, 2002 edition of TRIAL Magazine, the official journal of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Mr. Fariello is also the author of Airbag Injuries, Causation and Federal Regulations.
